My dear Fellow Toastmasters,
Think 10, 20 maybe 30 (for some) years ago, we had dreams. Compare these dreams with your dreams right now. Have they changed? Silly dreams? Impossible dreams? Or have you been living the dream?
a big and comfortable home you can call your own, a substantial balance account to get you to a comfortable retirement
a successful career where you are your own boss, a thriving business
a healthy, fit and comfortable lifestyle, a family and a loved one, maybe a child
But how do we treat these dreams? Do we just keep dreaming and forget to live? To live the present time and postpone our happiness until we reach these dreams?
My dreams have changed, some i considered silly, some i used to think were impossible to achieve and right now, I am living them and so very thankful that I am.
Do join me as we reminisce, give thanks and pursue our dreams in life while living the dream NOW.
